At Butler Tires and Wheels, we’re all about pushing boundaries, and our latest feature is no exception. Feast your eyes on this menacing 2019 Porsche 911 Turbo S, now rolling on not just one, but two different stunning sets of HRE wheels. There is some logic to this maniacal build as it isn't just about turning heads--there is some functionality gained with this particular wheel and tire setup. The 21 inch HRE Vintage 935 "Aerodisc" front wheels straighten out the airflow as it travels past the car, making it just a little slicker as it goes down the road. The 21x12.5" HRE Vintage 501's out back are mainly for looks, but they happen to be lighter than the stock wheels while also being an inch wider while easily accommodating a 325mm wide rear steamroller tire . With its sleek black finish and aggressive stance, this beast channels some serious Darth Vader vibes, commanding the road with an unmistakable stance and the performance to match.

The 911 Turbo S is already a masterpiece of engineering, but pairing it with HRE wheels and Michelin tires and some hand-picked go fast bits under the hood took it to a whole new level. We started with all new intercoolers for keeping things cool pull after pull after pull, and for better breathing and power we selected an IPD plenum, DO88 intake plumbing, Akrapovic Exhaust and downpipes, Kline headers, and BMC air filters. By Design Auto supplied us some larger turbos as well as a Cobb Accessport with a Stage 5 tune that tied all this together and gave us about 750 crank horsepower. On pump gas. In the summer.

Suspension lowering is provided by KW's HAS coilover kit which plays nicely with the remaining factory suspension pieces, and we dialed in our own aggressive street specs for the alignment. A DSC suspension controller keeps this thing as comfy as grandpa's Caddy until you mash the PDCC button, at which point things get so firm you had better keep your mouth guard in or you'll spit out a couple of teeth.

Next month we will be installing a methanol injection kit to keep intake temperatures even cooler, and for campfire fun, there will most definitely be flames coming out of the back of this thing, which is the only thing you'll actually see if we have done our jobs correctly here.
